Within 4th semester's emphasis course of New Media, we were appointed to create a film for the Bird's Eye Jazz Club in Basel. In the beginning, we had kind of a short documentation or a jubilee film for the 20th birthday in mind. However, we finally decided to create short clips targeted as subtle advertisements in cinemas. Compared to other cinema spots, we wanted ours to be musically as of course visually sophisticated – since visitors of the kult.kino (Basel's independent/alternative cinemas), the targeted jazz-lovers and we as design and art students appreciate high quality artworks. Each of the resulting six clips was based around one main idea.
